SECURITY: Lokoja Command of Kogi State Vigilante Services Burst Criminal Hideout, Recovers Stolen Properties »

The Kogi State Vigilante Service (KSVS), Lokoja Local Government Command last night recorded a huge breakthrough in the fight against crimes in Lokoja Local Government Area.

The Commander of the vigilante Groups, Mohammed Zuberu made these disclosures at the Command Office in Lokoja Local Government Secretariat He stated that Command has been gathering Intel which led to the breakthrough and subsequent apprehension of some members of the syndicate group which specialises in home invasions, robbery, snatching of motorcycles and all manners atrocities.

While several items including motorcycles, generators and some home appliances were recovered, some of the suspects are still at large. The command he noted will not rest on its oars, as efforts are being intensified to bring the culprits to Justice.

Hon. Yusuf Bala Mohammed, the former DSO and Special Adviser on Security the Local Government Chairman, Comrade Abdullahi Adamu commends the Command for the working tirelessly to keep the community safe. He assured them of the continuous support of the Local Government in the discharge of their duties.

The Command appealed to the citizens to all provide credible information that will help security personnel to keep the state safe.
