Senator Jibrin Echocho Extends Condolences to Kogi State Auditor General, Hon. Okala, on Passing of His Mother
Senator Isah Jibrin Echocho, has expressed deep sorrow over the passing of Hajia Amina Yusuf Okala, the beloved mother of the Auditor General of Kogi State, Hon. Yakubu Okala. Describing the loss as deeply personal, Senator Echocho recalled the maternal care and love he received from the late Hajia Amina, who was not only a biological aunt to him but also a motherly figure whose warmth touched countless lives.
“Hajia Amina Yusuf Okala was a godly woman, known for her communal spirit and nurturing nature,” Senator Echocho remarked. “She was a pillar of strength and kindness, who treated everyone as her own and lived a life of service to humanity. We shall miss her dearly.”
While praying for the repose of her soul, the Senator implored Almighty Allah to grant Hajia Amina Aljanatul Firdaus, the highest station in paradise, and to bring solace to the grieving family.
In a heartfelt message to Hon. Y.Y. Okala, Senator Echocho said:
“To my brother, Alhaji Yusuf Okala, this is not just your loss—it is our collective loss. Together, we are united in grief, and I pray that we all find the fortitude to bear this irreplaceable loss of our dear mother.”
