Share What You Have With Widows, Enemona Foundation Charges Nigeians At Edi-el-filtr
Enemona Humanitarian Foundation has called on Muslims in Nigeria and other people of goodwill, to look with love towards widows, orphans and other vulnerable people faced with difficult times in celebrating the Eid-el-Fitri festival for lack of resources.
In a congratulatory message to mark the end of the Holy Month of Ramadan signed by the President of the foundation, Gabriel Onoja, urged Nigerians to show love to their fellow brethren who may not be able to afford anything to celebrate with this period.
Ambassador Gabriel Onoja in the statement noted that Ramadan symbolizes the almighty Allah’s way of teaching humanity for people who are weak, appealing to Muslims particularly, to allow the lessons of the Holy Months dwell in them through charity, compassion, love and works of mercy.
He said the message of sacrifice as preached by the Holy Prophet of Allah can be well situated by providing for those who are hungry, adding that more blessings will be received from Allah by those who care for the widow and orphans.
While urging Nigerians to seek peace at all times with all men irrespective of religion, tribe and social status, Enemona foundation called on Nigerians to promote tolerance, respect for all and exhibit discipline at all times to enable them benefit richly from the blessing of the Holy month of Ramadan.
With several food items distributed to widows in parts of Kogi State for the celebration of the festivity, Gabriel Onoja said his foundation will continue to do what is needful to see that the poorest of the poor in Kogi State benefit from the foundation’s periodic interventions, while he wished Muslim a spirit filled Eid-el-Fitri celebration
