Stakeholders sue for peace in Dekina LGA »

With regards to the recent security challenges in Anyigba, stakeholders in Dekina Local Government have sued for peace within the area.

Former Administrator, and the All Progressive Congress Chairmanship flag Bearer for the Forthcoming Council poll in the Local Government, Hon Prince Ishaq Shaibu Okolo alongside the Ogohi Onu Anyigba, on Wednesday attended security meeting aimed at driving the message of peace to several stakeholders.

Hon Ishaq applauded Traditional rulers, Gagos, Madakis, community leaders, Imams, CAN, Tribal leaders (Hausa, Igbo and Yoruba), various Union leaders and Associations President of various Clubs, securities agencies, youths on their commitment to security and safety

He however charged them not to relent in their joint efforts in this regard in order to put an end to all anti social and criminal activities namely armed robbery, kidnapping, Assassination and cultism

He pointed out that the achievement of this would foster a robust Socio economic activities where all citizens could sleep with their two eyes closed.

He promised not fold his hands while he watched insecurity prevail in the area, noting that only with a collective effort could such be achieved.
