Standup for Women Society welcomes national, global members to a beautiful year 2024

The International President of Stand Up for Women Society (SWS), Lib. Barr. Deborah Ijadele-Adetona, through the National PRO, Lib. Billie Nwogu has congratulated members of the association for making it into 2024 and urged them to remain focused and determined to achieve extraordinary things, that could further move the association to another level of growth where it could impact more lives and empower vulnerable women and youths in society. And reiterated that love and unity should thrive more among members.

Lib. Barr. Deborah promised not to relent in her efforts to liaise with relevant agencies in order to meet the association’s objectives in training and retraining of leaders across the 36 States of Nigeria including the FCT.

The International President commended all executives at both national and state for their resilience in making life meaningful and conducive for their husbands and loved ones, while pledging to reward hard work and diligence as they look forward to a robust 2024 in all ramifications.

Barr. Deborah also called on federal and state governments to work to establish a system that would enhance the living conditions of Nigerians, considering how 2023 was a challenging year due to the PMS subsidy removal.

She also expressed her displeasure over the incident that occured in Plateau State on Christmas day, involving the loss of numerous lives. She therefore called on the Federal government to provide adequate security for Nigerians.

She expressed gratitude to God Almighty for the gift of life and equally prayed that God should make the new year prosperous and favorable for all.
