Tribunal Victory: Engr. Joseph Congratulates Gov Ododo, Kogites
The Kogi State commissioner for Environment and Ecological Management, Engr. Joseph Olusegun has felicitated with Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, the Governor of Kogi State on his tribunal victory on Monday.
Engr. Joseph in a statement describes the victory as a justification of the mandate of the masses and a confirmation of the will of God in favour of the common man.
“This Tribunal judgment that has further affirmed Alhaji Usman Ododo as the duly elected 5th Executive Governor of Kogi State, has justified the decision of majority of the electorates in Kogi State who casted the votes in favour of the gubernatorial candidate in the November 11th, 2023 gubernatorial election of Kogi State. The Tribunal has once again proven that indeed justice is blind to sentiments of any sort and that it favours only those who are standing upright.”
The commissioner praised the judgment of the tribunal and further revealed that the judgment has further given hope to the common man. This victory according to Engr. Joseph, has laid to rest the issue of tribal and ethnic bigotry in the State.
He further advised the Kogi Gubernatorial candidate of the Social Democratic Party, SDP, Muritala Ajaka, to accept the tribunal’s verdict in good fate and embrace the hands of fellowship of Governor Usman Ododo, emphasising that Gov Ododo has never stopped being a man of peace.
He appreciates Kogites who voted massively for the All Progressive Congress in the November 11th 2023 Kogi Gubernatorial election that brought on board Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo. He reassured that Governor Ododo will not betray the trust bestowed on him by the people.
