As Jonas Salk wisely said, “intuition will tell the thinking mind where next to look.” There is no doubt that Hon. (Arc.) Salman Idris has chosen the right path by joining the All Progressives Congress (APC). His decision reflects not only political foresight, but also a deep understanding of the evolving political landscape and what is best for the people of Kabba-Bunu/Ijumu Federal Constituency. By aligning with the ruling party, Hon. Salman Idris is positioning himself strategically to deliver the dividends of democracy more effectively, and ensure that our constituency remains at the forefront of progress and development.

Since his election to the House of Representatives, Hon. (Arc.) Salman Idris has consistently demonstrated his commitment to improving the lives of our people. His track record speaks volumes, from numerous empowerment programmes that have uplifted many within our communities to the distribution of fertilizers to our farmers, showcasing his dedication to boosting our local economy. He has continually worked to create employment opportunities for our youth, and provide them with direction and purpose in an increasingly competitive economy. Hs is indeed a visionary leader and a dedicated servant of the people.

In this decisive period, your coming to the APC will help correct the activities of usurpers and opportunists who have tried to manipulate the political space for personal gain. Surely, God has now filled the gap created by the death of “the man of the people,” Hon. Ade Ismail, who sacrificed so much for the unity and progress of our party, having the overall development of Ijumu at heart. We pray God to continue to rest his soul.

Arc. Salman’s presence within the party is a hope for those who truly seek the progress of Kabba-Bunu/Ijumu. With your leadership, the rightful voice of the people will once again steer the direction of our constituency, and bring about much-needed transformation.

By joining the ruling party, he ensures that Kabba/Bunu/Ijumu’s voice will be heard more loudly at both the state and national levels.
