Lokoja Council Chairman Flags off Distribution of Rice To Indigents »

The Chairman of Lokoja Local Government Area Comrade Abdullahi Adamu today flagged off the distribution of food across the ten wards in Lokoja Local Government.

At the flag-off, the Council Chairman stated that the exercise is the continuation of the quarterly food distribution to the needy, communities and groups, security agencies, workers and all stakeholders.

The Chairman emphasized that the government will continue to support those in need, the weak and vulnerable to cushion the effects of the economy.

Comrade Adamu assured that a template has been designed to ensure that the items gets to the target beneficiaries. He thanked His Excellency Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo for giving the Chairmen all the support needed to impact positively.

The Chairman who was supported by the VC Hon. Patricia Balogun, Secretary to Lokoja Local Government, Hon. Muhammed Danjuma Abubakar, Council Leader, Hon. Muhammed Hauwa Teni and DLG, Alhaji Musa Omuwa reiterate the local government’s commitment to the welfare of the people.
