Magic Or Sorcery: A Panacea For Transformation of Kogi State in Three Years

When one watches fictitious yet, enticing movie like Merlin, for instance, one discovers various tricks of attaining immediate solution to fervent issues. Such is the power of those leaving on voodooism.

Virtually most West African States lived upon certain act of sorcery and the result sharpen into colossal timely development.

When I watched Love is Timeless, a Philippian movie, I watched with keen passion, the development of the plot with simple yet capsicum build up finally having Christian marrying Mary Ann: the hero and heroine of the movie respectively.

Elaborating on the satanic, purported, sponsored and blackmailed means of denying Gov. Bello his second term ambition by the Association of Old Politicians, one is no longer surprise, how these acclaimed bourgeoisie want power at all cost thus fashioning out modes of various operatives in causing national instability for the nation and State in particular.

So many associations, pressure group, classless and disdained individuals have recommended to the national leadership of the ruling All Progressives Congress, denial of the party’s ticket for the season two of His Excellency, Alh. Yahaya Adoza Bello.

Where they seemed to bafall me is their insurance means of aggravating the State as national headquarters of poverty, salary backlog and deaths of civil servants. Wow, what an interesting dubious means of character assassination.

Where I fault the administration of GYB-led government is his partisan means of politicking. When a Carpenter and reported Mentally Disordered were serving as the leadership of the State, no so called group, individual or association dare came out to challenge the orders of their administration. Despite their infiltrated blueprint of causing havoc in various districts, Ebiraland in particular, no sponsored Abuja Concerned Kogi Citizens came with percipient outburst of curtailing the issues. Everyone were as silent as the grave while Ebiraland receive tormenting fabrics from the superintendent of the sixteen years PDP maladministration of the Confluence State.

Why Ebiraland is always centralised in my article is not because of my hailing from there but because the twenty-four years dominating rule of the Igala Favouritism saw the land becoming a land of terror as a result of their wanting it to be so. Despite these favouritism granted them, when they saw the return of republican state the Ebiras were known for, they came with the pronouncement of ‘Okura State’ where Anyigba was designed as the headquarters. As for the Okuns, they were interested in returning to their old Kwara State while the State (Kogi) was to either be left for the Ebiras and Lokoja people or simply, a definition I never seem to get.

From the little analysis above, it can now be constructively obtained, the hatred for Ebira man which is the major derivation Gov. Bello is passing through.

Let me butress that an average Igala man does not hate the Ebiras. Consider our palm oil trade with them and the good spirit of Chief Edward Onoja’s relationship with Gov. Bello even before their New Direction Administration. If someone like Chief Edward Onoja has been on the phase before now, the twenty-four years misrule of his people wouldn’t have earned Kogi State this status. Despite his strive of creating an enabling environment between his people and the sole reason for the creation of Kogi State, yes, the Ebiras actually piloted the creation of Kogi State, Chief Edward Onoja is earning more enemies from the failed gladiators similar means Gov. Bello is earning from his people.

Political Chieftains that failed to reform a State for twenty-four expensive years have continued wasting stolen currencies in sponsoring bills meant at tarnishing the common three years spent by His Excellency, Alh. Yahaya Adoza Bello.

They claimed the governor in his early forties has no record of achievements thus instigating hatred for Ebira man. The underlying principle in their wasted bill is not truly the non-performance of Bello but their overriding hatred for Ebira people.

Also, the security system which has earned the three years of Gov. Bello excellent score card is something again they are never pleased with. They knew how to carryout such system in their maladministration but a spell of bad weather visited them and the result saw them turning districts against each other.

I can remember vividly, the day they planned setting Ebiraland aflame using Mobile Police against the good people of Ogaminana, headquarters of Adavi Local Government Area.

There is a proverb I will always live with which goes thus: when you see a madman talking, wait a minute; why does everyone think he is mad?

The interpretation of the above proverb in relation to Gov. Bello’s administration and his distractors lies essentially on the young man’s capacity of modifying Kogi State into a peaceful, economic and developed parlance.

Though they commented on placards, GYB not performing, GYB give us our money, GYB pay salary, etc. I always clap watching and reading such sympathy of an accidental purchase. Before I lay emphasis on the satanic three squelch contained in this paragraph, what the complainants and their ghost sponsors in the shell of expired Kogi politicians failed to understand is that when a particular government constantly receive criticisms especially from those denied due to their discovered website of having a constituent backward, it means such government is leaving up to expectations and only time and patience are required to transform the State rather than the magic or sorcery the aggrieved party wished for. It is only fictitious to seek for magical means of transforming Kogi State in three years. What do well tell those who could not attain substantial development in their sixteen/twenty-four years of maladministration?

On GYB not performing, their first nightmare, what happened to Ankpa Express transformed by Gov. Bello within his three years in office? The Eika-Kuroko Express is equally there and what about the abandoned Nagazi-Eba route which previous government squandered financially in high extreme? What about other roads attention received in the three senatorial districts of the State which I won’t mention here reserved for my next articles? That’s that for roads.

Still on Gov. Bello not performing, what were their sixteen years/twenty-four years maladministration achievements in agriculture? The Rice Mill of GYB is not enough, I supposed. Let them wait for GYB’s Cassava Plantation expected to bring three different refineries ranging on surghum, the only one I must mention now.

During their failed administration, they left some Ministries in shadows of itself and the GYB-led government has fascinated this effect. Some of these renovations include among others, the State’s Revenue House, creation of Ministry of Local Government and Chieftancy Affairs, a Nutrition House under the Minisitry of Health to be commissioned on 27th August, 2019. Others are there in the open air.

Another placarded effect of the desperadoes is begging GYB to give them their share of the State’s Cake. Regrettably, the GYB-led government gave no room for tyrants, expired politicians, old leaders who were supposed to give room for the young ones to grow, some failed APC loyalists now seeking for recognition in the State using clumsy national unhealthy youths for protest in Abuja. Why all of this suddenly? Truly, Gov. Bello is a strong man and can never be misled. The State’s Cake is for all and the three senatorial districts have benefitted greatly. It now depends on how each districts appointees decide to reach out to their people but then, the appointees have lived up to expectations. The cankerworm noise here and there surround those who always want feeding without striving for improving her feed habit. Notwithstanding, if sincerity and plight of every man is accounted for, gradually will it be unfold, the series of achievements/beneficial etiquette received in the three excellent years of His Excellency, Alh. Yahaya Adoza Bello.

In their last squash surrounding payment of salary, why would twenty-first century men forget so soon how they drove Kogi State into backlog confirmed by a retired governor and his deputy?

Local Government Percentage came during their misrule if they have not forgotten so soon.

Essentially, and without dispute, their wasted bid of governance saw them paying 100% salary. Kudos to governance of debt generation, loan and mismanagement of fund with ghost workers receiving salary. When critical examination is carried out on Kogi-Abuja Protesters, one see of course, the identified ghost workers discovered as a result GYB-led administration hence salaries no longer forthcoming. I sincerely pity them in this effect.

I always believe in oneness of my State and this is the right time to do so. We got it wrong in the past years and Gov. Bello is closely interested in bringing this oneness but the cause of the disintegration are on the air everyday perturbing the peaceful developmental governance of the detribalised governor whom instead of seeking vengeance opted for transformational stream.

If President Muhammadu Buhari was unable to change Nigeria in four years thus earning second chance of moving the country to the next level, such is the case of the most criticised governor who if conventional transformation of the State is expected in three years of office, only magic or sorcery is required.
