100 Days in Office: Ejura Onoja Congratulates Governor Bello, Deputy Governor »

Wife of the Kogi State Deputy Governor, Mrs Ejura Onoja has congratulated, Governor Yahaya Bello and her husband, the Deputy Governor, Edward Onoja on their hundred (100) days of second term in office.

This was contained in a congratulatory message written by her to felicitate with the duo on Thursday in Abuja.

The message in full:

CONGRATULATIONS ON YOUR 100 DAYS IN OFFICE AS THE 5TH EXECUTIVE GOVERNOR OF KOGI STATE!

Your Excellency, you have remarkably done your best to improve the lives of the people of Kogi State economically and patriotically which was the change we craved for as a people. And now you are relentlessly, taking the state to the next phase of development, as your hundred days (100) into your second term in office has no doubt given a sign, even in the face of the global challenge from drawbacks of COVID-19 on your willingness to make life better for Kogites.

The rate of insecurity through the effort of your administration with stringent measures taken on a daily bases in your first phase drastically curtailed the menace which was a threat to our lives and your leadership is again towing same line of action as series of other arrests have been made, mopping the state of crime and criminality.

Time will not permit me to mention all that you did to ensure women inclusiveness in governance in your first term in office, giving us a new lease of life by way of appointments into relevant offices, which was not obtainable before your assumption of office in 2015.

Your programmes and vision to make better the lives of women in Kogi State are excellently commendable and it is on this note, Your Excellency, I would like to congratulate you and my loving husband, the Deputy Governor of Kogi State, His Excellency, David Edward Onoja whom you fondly call your (Siamese Twin) on your hundred (100) days in office. I pray that your achievements in this second term and women inclusiveness in your government will surpass that of your first term in office.

I count it a privilege to be a part of your visionary administration as ‘Wife of your Deputy’ and promise to stick to my guns in giving my all to the realisation of the set goals of your administration.

Also, congratulations to my amiable boss, Her Excellency, Hajia Rashida Bello who has made working with her much easer for me.
