2023: Gov. Bello meets with Kabba-Bunu/Ijumu Fed. Const. APC executives, solidifies grounds for party’s victory

As events leading to the 2023 general elections gathers momentum, governor Yahaya Bello has continued to take the lead as the leader of the party in Kogi state to ensure continued engagement at various levels targeted towards securing success for the party in its outing at the polls.

At a meeting in Lokoja, the governor lauded the efforts, support and commitment of stakeholders, the 21 Local Government chairmen and party chairmen from Kabba-Bunu/Ijumu Federal Constituency for their loyalty and overwhelming support to his administration while calling for more support in the 2023 Elections.

Bello called for unity and loyalty among stakeholders and members of the party at the federal constituency level. He noted that with the continuous and collective resolve to stick together as a people under the same party, the true essence of unity which has helped them forge ahead through the years as a party will not be overturned by infiltrators.

The governor encouraged party stakeholders of the APC across the Kabba-Bunu/Ijumu federal constituency to embrace peace and to play by the rules as that has been the manner of the APC in Kogi State. The governor also pledged to wipe out all forms of insecurity, criminalities and election-related crimes even from the most minute community in the state.

The governor however, warned against anti-party activities nothing that such activities will not be entertained in the party. He therefore pledged to oil, grease and water all the party structures across the state particularly in the federal constituency to ensure victory in the 2023 Elections.

Gov Bello also assured stakeholders that an upgraded Bello Care program will be launched in three weeks. Stressing that the app is specifically designed to address not only health issues but also grassroots agitations without interception. “Through this app, you’ll have access to me and other benefits of the party directly; No more third parties,” he said.

“To anyone claiming to be more APC than we are, tell them to join the queue “.

“Let me assure you, Kogi State is 100% APC and we will win 100% in 2023. To all Kogites, “Gbo Gbo Wa Lokan”, he said.

Earlier on, the State Chairman of the Party Hon Abdullahi Bello lauded the people of the Federal Constituency for keeping faith with the APC through the years, assuring the people that the APC has a robust reward system for all categories of supporters. He lauded governor Bello for showing leadership in the party and for his constant efforts in strengthening the party in the state, promising that the people of Kabba-Bunu/Ijumu federal constituency will balance these efforts by mobilizing for the party’s victory in the forthcoming elections.

While delivering the vote of thanks, The deputy governor, Chief Edward Onoja validated support from stakeholders from Kabba-Bunu /Ijumu federal constituency to the governor as the leader of the party. He noted that APC is intact, unshaken and urged the people to continue to keep faith with her, noting that APC stands victorious in future elections.
