2023: Let’s win all seats in Kogi West, campaign DG charges APC supporters

The Director General, Kogi State All Progressives Congress Campaign Council, Pharm. Abdulkareem Jamiu Asuku has commissioned APC campaign complex and inaugurated members of the Kogi West Presidential Campaign Council for the All Progressive Congress ahead of the 2023 general elections.

Pharm Asuku while addressing a mammoth crowd accompanied by the Speaker of the house of assembly, Rt. Hon. Matthew Kolawole, Secretary to the state government, Dr. Mrs Folashade Arike Ayoade, the Kogi West Senatorial Candidate of APC, Hon. Sunday Karimi, shortly after commissioning the APC campaign complex at Kabba maintained that Kogi West is a reliable factor as the party goes into the polls in 2023.

Pharm Asuku while speaking commended the party leadership at the senatorial district for their synergy stressing that he was optimistic of victory for APC across the state.

The DG while commending Governor Yahaya Bello’s style of leadership and infrastructural strides across the three senatorial districts noted that the governor has made campaigning easy for party faithfuls in the state.

“By the grace of God APC will win 100% in Kogi State and this will only be possible if we unite together; We need to work together if we must succeed”.

He however called on the party at the senatorial district to steer the process of broad-based reconciliation, addressing any differences that may have arisen while collaborating to work together. He therefore warned against anti-party activities as such actions won’t be condoned in the party.

The Kogi West Senatorial District candidate of APC, Hon. Sunday Karimi commended the leadership of governor Yahaya Bello in the state particularly in the party. He appreciated party members for their support and pledged to work hand in hand with the DG to ensure that APC returns with 100% victory in Kogi West senatorial district and the state at large.

The Kogi West Campaign DG, Barr. David Shola Ayedogbon, the Speaker of Kogi State House of Assembly and candidate for Kabba-Bunnu/Ijumu federal constituency, Rt. Hon. Matthew Kolawole and others who shared thoughts at the event reiterated optimism on the victory of the APC at all levels, stating that the APC has always been the most preferred party in the state and that Nigerians are waiting to elect candidates of the party come 2023.

High point of the event witnessed the reception of decampees from the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) into the Apc with decampees pledging to give their full support in securing an overwhelming victory for the APC.

A solidarity walk was held to kick-start campaign activities.
