2023: NAPAY endorse GYB to run for president, says he represents younger generation »

….as Kogi COS bags most productive and outstanding appointee of Governor Bello.

A group identified as National Patriotic Youth (NAPAY) has joined several other groups to also endorse the candidacy of Governor Yahaya Bello for the 2023 presidency.

The Group through its spokesperson, Mr. Onu kaba Haruna expressed that the governor represented the young generation of leadership that the nation was clamouring for.

The group also gave an award of recognition to the Chief of Staff to Kogi State Governor, Pharm. Abdulkareem Jamiu as the most productive and outstanding appointee of the New Direction Government.

He noted that Just five years down the line, Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello has been able to change the narratives of what Kogi State used to be and today, he’s transforming the State to align with the vision of the founding fathers and to the admiration of all.

He expressed that the Governor in his magnanimity has touched all sectors of the State positively, ranging from road constructions, rural electrification, provision of portable water, civil service reform, youth and women Inclusiveness in governance and of course, security of lives and property of the people of the Confluence State which has made him to receive several Awards both local, national and international.

Mr. Onu Kaba revealed that such drive was what the group and many other Nigerians wants replicated in the country hence the call for the Governor to run for the number one seat of the federation.

The Spokesperson described the Chief of Staff, a bridge between the common men and the State Government and a true ambassador of His Excellency, Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello, a committed, faithful and workaholic kind hearted personality.

He added that his commitment towards ensuring the success of this administration and the vital role he was playing, inspired us to confer the meritorious award as the Most Productive and Outstanding Appointee of the New Direction Government.

The Chief of Staff in his response noted that he was not surprised that several groups were asking the Governor to run for president in 2023 noting that such calls were in recognition of his leadership style and the positive impact of his government.

He similarly thanked them for joining other good people of the country to make such call on the governor as they were not just making such calls in words but backed with actions.

He said the group was well aware of the several programs of the New Direction Government noting that several of his developmental strides were wedged on equality to all ethnic group in the state.

The COS added that several other new projects in the current dispensations were evenly distributed across the senatorial regions as a detribalized leader who have a track record of performance in security and safety of the people of the state.

He concluded that the Governor was well aware of the several calls made on him to run for president and would in due cause make known his intentions accordingly

On his award, the COS thanked the group for his recognition while he also dedicated same to his principal, Governor Bello whom he said has given him the enablement to perform his assignment.
