…says project designed to correct 61 years of injustice against North Central

The Senior Special Assistant to Governor Yahaya Bello on Political Matters, Omoluabi Bode Adeyemi has described the non existent North Central Council as lacking in historical facts and understanding of rulership of Nigeria since 1960 when the nation attained independence for asking Governor Yahaya Bello to drop his Presidential ambition.

Omoluabi made the assertion while reacting to the news from the unknown North Central Council of the All Progressives Congress that mistakenly made the unfounded statement. Omoluabi says although it is crystal clear that the phantom group is a smokescreen of some national political figures who are afraid of the growing influence and popularity of Governor Yahaya Bello, it is still important to school the uninformed group that North Central is the only zone in Nigeria that is yet to produce a democratic President or Vice President, hence it is only an unstable mind that can suggest such when the zone now has a popular, bold and fit aspirant like Governor Yahaya Bello.

Omoluabi Bode Adeyemi who gave historical facts that in the first Republic North East and South East ruled Nigeria represented by Sir Tafawa Balewa as Prime Minister and Dr Nnamdi Azikiwe before the military coup, in the second republic, North West and South East ruled Nigeria represented by President Shehu Shagari and Vice President Alex Ekweme and in the fourth Republic, Nigeria has produced four Presidents represented by South West(Obasanjo), North West(Yar’Adua), South South(Jonathan) and North West(Buhari) and four Vice President represented by North East(Atiku), South South(Jonathan), North West(Sambo) and South West(Osinbajo). He therefore argued that it is unfortunate that politicians of these days lack understanding of our political history, which is the reason for such a press statement from anyone from North Central that have been relegated for sixty-one years despite the nationalism and contribution of the zone to the progress and unity of Nigeria, he says the only was equity, justice and fairness can be said and be seen to be done is for North Central to produce the next President which Governor Yahaya Bello represent.

I received the news of press statement by an unknown group called North Central Council of APC with a lot of concerns for their lack of understanding of our political history, lot of amusement for the ignorance of the group and lot of joy for the confusion of their sponsors, asking the youngest aspirant from the most deprived zone of Nigeria to back out of his Presidential ambition, it is glaringly obvious that the group and their sponsors are afraid of the growing acceptability of Governor Yahaya Bello and the brightness of his chances to win the primary and general election in 2023. I’m particularly surprised that anyone from the North Central zone and indeed Nigeria could be so unperturbed and not concerned by the way the zone has been marginalised for 61 years since independence, in a saner society where equity and justice has meaning, no one outside North Central would have the courage, moral consciousness and confidence to contest for the Presidency in 2023, but what we see is a set of uninformed persons having the temerity to ask the Governor to back off a legitimate course as is being pursued on behalf of the cheated people of North Central and the Nigeria youths. However, we want to assure the group and their sponsors that they still live in yesterday and would be utterly shocked by the outcome of the 2023 elections. I urge the sponsors of the group to accept fate rather than sponsorship of what is making the ambition of Governor Yahaya Bello more popular Omoluabi says

The Governor’s political aide says the Governor has enjoyed unprecedented patronage of people from various fields of life, asking him to contest the Presidency, he says these supporters that have large followers have caused fears among those who feel they own Nigeria, he said the 2023 contest will be a sharp departure from the past and usher in a new political dispensation that seeks to return power to the people
