Nat’l Assembly legislator, David Zachariah lauds Kogi gov’s Chief of Staff Onoja; describes him as ‘eye of Igala Nation’

To the member representing Idah Federal Constituency at the National Assembly, Hon David Zachariah, the Chief of Staff to the Governor of Kogi State, Hon. Edward Onoja is the current eye of the Igala nation.

Hon Zachariah made the remark at the funeral service in honour of Sir Okee father in-law to Hon. Onoja in Egume, while explaining why they have mobilised themselves in large number to show support to him in the family’s moment of grief.

He used the opportunity to appreciate Hon. Edward Onoja for the roles he has continued to play in the lives of most Igala principal office holders in all parts of the state and the country.

Hon. Zachariah said the Chief of Staff to the Governor was instrumental to the current rise of many sons and daughters of Igala nation in the political scene.

“Edward Onoja is the eye of the Igalas who has succeeded in rescuing some of us from political shame.”

“We are so proud of the Chief of Staff, we have come to show our support to him as he buries his father inlaw. We cannot appreciate him enough for the roles he plays and support in matters that have to do with the Igala people,” he added.

The House of Representatives member while praying to God to console the family of late Sir Okee, he prayed God to repose the soul of the deceased.

They were donations from the wife of the Governor, Hajia Rashida Bello, the House of Representatives members and appointees of the New Direction Government to assist the church authorities where the funeral service was held complete its project.
