Onoja urges couples on mutual respect »

Kogi State Deputy Governor, Chief Edward Onoja has emphasised the need for married couples to have mutual respect for one another to have an enduring home.

Chief Onoja who was represented by his wife, Mrs Ejura Mercy Onoja made the remark on Saturday in an interview with our reporter at the wedding reception of Zainab Jibrin Isah, the daughter of the senator representing Kogi East and Kunle Ajiboye in Abuja.

The Deputy Governor identified patience, love, effective communication and understanding with one another as some of the factors that strengthen the institution of marriage.

He enjoined the couple, Mr and Mrs Ajiboye to allow the teachings on the values of Marriage be their guiding principle and watch against third party that often brings about differences in marriages.

Speaking further, Chief Onoja who opined that all challenges of life could be handled through prayers, urged the couple to always turn to God in the affairs of their union.
