Kogi State Governor has urged the first batch of the 2020 Christian pilgrims to ensure that their sojourn revolved around spiritual rediscovery and earnest prayers for nation and state.
He also tasked the believers to pray for love in the State and its twenty one Local Government Areas, noting that such would birth peace and progress.
He gave this charge on Thursday while addressing the sixty six intending pilgrims to the Holy land from the confluence State at the glass house in Lokoja.
The Governor who was represented by his Deputy, Chief Edward Onoja requested the pilgrims to make prayers of thanksgiving for the recently concluded election, security and safety witnessed in the State and other very important concerns on the state’s behalf.
