The Senior Special Assistant to Kogi State government on security for Ofu Local Government Area, Hon Ibrahim Amodu has commiserated with the State Governor, Alhaji Yahaya Bello over the death of his mother, Hajiya Hawawu Oziohu Bello.
He made the statement on Monday in a press statement made available to journalists.
The security aide expressed sadness over the death, especially at a crucial time like this one and prayed God to grant the deceased eternal rest in Jannatul Firdaus.
To him, death is an ultimate end for any individual, and prayed Almighty God to grant the Governor and his family the ability to absolve the shock which he said is not easy to bear.
He called on the citizens of the state to remember the deceased in their prayers, just as he promised to always remember her in his own prayers for having raised an upright and dedicated individual like Governor Bello.
“I am only sad for her physical absence, but I am not wholesomely sad because I know she is with us in spirit to guide and direct the affairs of His Excellency in spirit. Adieu Mama,” the security aide stressed.
