Pan-African Youth Union Elective Congress: Oladele Nihi Emerges Vice President West Africa, to Lead 16 Countries for Next Three Years

In the just concluded Extraordinary Elective Congress of the Pan-African Youth Union (PYU) at Niamey Niger Republic; which took place between the 15th and 16th November, 2021, the sole candidate and Nigerian flag bearer Amb. Oladele John Nihi defeated a Senegalese counterpart to cling the position of the Vice President West Africa.

  1. The victory came as a result of the enormous support and wide acceptance shown to the candidacy of Oladele John Nihi and Nigeria as a country, by delegates across West African countries; as they gave all they could to see to the emergence and actualization of the #AfricaYouthOclock Mandate.
  2. We want to use this opportunity to appreciate African Youths, West African Youths, and Nigeria, for trusting the candidacy of Oladele John Nihi with this mandate, and for believing in his aspiration to reposition Africa and to make the Pan-African Youth Union a voice she is ought to be.
  3. The journey to a greater West Africa for youths across all West African member states for the next three years has began, and the administration of Oladele John Nihi shall remain committed to providing quality representative across board and as at when due.
  4. The Vice President West Africa (elect) also uses the opportunity to congratulate all elected Executives in West Africa and the continent at large, assuring them of his readiness to work closely with their respective offices to achieve all set objectives and to drive the Pan-African dream to the desirable heights.
  5. He appreciates the Nigerian Government, particularly the Ministry of Youth and Sports Development under the leadership of Mr. Sunday Dare. And his birth state Kogi State, under the able leadership of Governor Yahaya Bello, for standing by him and for trusting him to represent Nigeria, and now West Africa with such a great mandate.

Congratulations to Amb. Oladele John Nihi on his emergence as the number one youth in West Africa. Thank you African Youth, for the mandate, and wishing you all journey mercies back to your respective countries.

God bless Africa!
