PAAYEF redeems pledge of WAEC, NECO fees for winners of inter-school competition »

It will be recalled that the finals of the Inter-School quiz/debate competition, which was the brainchild of Pharmacist Abdulkareem Asuku, was hosted by the Pharmacist Abdulkareem Asuku Youth Empowerment Foundation (PAAYEF) in October, 2021.

PAAYEF rewarded the top 5 victorious students at the competition with cash gifts, laptops and other educational materials along with scholarships to any government university in Nigeria.

The Foundation has recently redeemed it’s pledge of paying WASSCE, NECO fees for four students who were winners, PAAYEF Focal Person, Hon. Sandra Mimi has confirmed.

Hon. Mimi who made this confirmation to our correspondent said the Foundation follows the development of the winners in their respective schools and has since fulfilled her promise of offsetting their fees, adding that one of the beneficiaries on scholarship is already a student of the university of Abuja studying Medicine with tuition fees paid by PAAYEF.

The beneficiaries were as well admonished to be studious and use the advantage to renew their determination to advance further in their education so as to be productive in society and add to the skill set needed by the state and country.

Beaming with joy and happiness on their faces, the students appreciated PAAYEF and wished their sponsor greater success.
