GYB @47: Kogi Deputy Governor, Onoja leads appointees, friends for special thanksgiving service

The Deputy Governor of Kogi State, Chief Edward Onoja, Secretary to the State Government, Dr. Mrs. Folashade Arike Ayoade, along with political appointees, friends and family marked the birthday of Governor Yahaya Bello with a special thanksgiving session at the Government House Chapel this morning.

Governor Yahaya Bello turned 47 yesterday 18th June, 2022.

The event was also attended by clergies, parishioners, friends and well-wishers of the governor.

The Deputy Governor and clergies who took turn to speak said thanksgiving is a moral obligation to attract more of God’s blessings.

They described Yahaya Bello as “a man after God’s heart and a distinguished leader who has contributed immensely to human capital and infrastructure development in Kogi in particular and Nigeria at large.

“He is a dogged man who does not give up in the face of daunting challenges in life.

They prayed for more wisdom and health on the governor to enable him continue his services to Kogi State and Nigeria.

InsideStory News reports that dignitaries at the event included; Kogi state CAN Chairman, Special Apostle Adebayo Emanuel, former CAN Chairman, Bishop John Ibenu, Rev. Sam Egwuda, Bishop Ted Bakko, FUL VC, Prof. Yemi Akinwumi, FRSC Sector Commandant, State CAN Secretary, Very Rv. Denis Ijioma amongst others.
