Apology Accepted, Kogi gov. responds to sober social media critics
…says criticism spurs him to do more
Governor Yahaya Bello of Kogi state has noting that he had accepted the apologies tendered by many critics, after they were inundated with numerous infrastructure strides of his government.
The governor who spoke directly to the social media audience during an inspection of GYB Model Secondary School Adankolo, noted that their criticism spurred him to always do more and that his government disposition to such was always positively constructive.
He said “This is GYB Adankolo secondary school in Lokoja, when we came into office we saw this school in shambles and promised to remodel it. Today we have a remodeled secondary school that will beat any university in Nigeria. The school is well equipped, adequately staffed, and ready for commissioning”
Governor Bello hinted that they would be inviting President Muhammadu Buhari, The All Progressive Congress Presidential Flag bearer and other state governors to come and see what we are doing here in Kogi state.
He noted that his administration has been able to do so much and would be doing more, promising to work to the last seconds of his mandate as the executive governor of the state.
While thanking the people of Kogi state for their support and for giving his government the enablement to achieve these successes, he promised to continue to secure the environment, do more and follow all the New Direction thematic areas until they delivered fully.
Earlier while addressing the teachers, he appreciated them for keeping the standard of the citadel of learning, adding that this was one of the many model secondary schools that were being constructed under his administration.
