Make God basis of your marriage, Kogi governor tasks new couple »

Kogi State governor, Yahaya Bello has admonished the newly wedded family of Mr. & Mrs Abdulwahab Isah to make God the foundation upon which their home would be built, adding that third parties should not be allowed access in their matrimony.

The governor made this known on Saturday while attending the wedding reception of the new family as he was hosted by the family of the state ALGON chairman/chairman Ijumu Local Government Area and father of groom, Honourable Taofeek Isah.

Governor Bello opined that marriage was a journey between two individuals (Man and Woman) who have made up their minds to remain so irrespective of the challenges that they might encounter noting that the couple should emulate the good lessons of marriage they have learnt from their parents.

The governor prayed for God to bless their marriage with children, protect the new couples from all forms of evil and grant them long life as a couple.
