Gov Bello storms Lagos as youths stage ’Eko Walk’ for Tinubu-Shettima

Kogi State Governor, Alhaji Yahaya Bello, on Saturday, joined other supporters of the All Progressives Congress (APC) at the Eko Youth Walk for the APC presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu and his running mate, Sen. Kashim Shettima.

Governor Bello was ably represented by his Deputy, Chief (Dr) Edward Onoja who was received by his Lagos State counterpart, Dr Obafemi Hamzat, and other APC stakeholders in the State.

The Walk began in Maryland with the enthusiastic crowd converging on the Police College, Ikeja at the event attended by the APC National Women’s Leader, Dr Betta Edu, APC North Central Organizing Secretary, Hon. Ahmedi Attah, Kogi State APC Chairman, Hon. Abdullahi Bello and former APC National Youth Leader, Bar Ismaeel Ahmed, among other APC stalwarts.

Speaking on behalf of Governor Bello, Chief Onoja revealed that Lagos State currently boasts of the highest number of registered voters which puts the APC at a vantage point of galvanizing votes in the forthcoming elections.

He upheld Tinubu’s policy document which highlights national security, economy, agriculture, power, oil and gas, transportation, and education as priority lists of actions, saying he bears the leadership competence, doggedness, and foresight to engineer national development.

He emphasized that the road to a better Nigeria currently lies in the hands of Nigerians to vote for Bola Tinubu irrespective of tribe, faith, and creed, assuring that he would mobilize the youths to ensure Tinubu’s victory in the 2023 general elections as National Youth Coordinator.

Recall Governor Yahaya Bello was inaugurated as APC National Youth Campaign Coordinator alongside other members of the PCC for the Tinubu/Shettima Campaign Council at the nation’s seat of power yesterday in Abuja.
