… as traditional rulers, stakeholders throw weight behind party, candidates

The Director General, Kogi State Presidential Campaign Council, Chief Pharm. Abdulkareem Moh’d Jamiu Asuku on Tuesday led candidates of the All Progressives Congress for Kogi Central Senatorial seat, Engr Abubakar Ohere, House of Representatives, Okene/Ogori Magongo federal Constituency candidate, Hon. Ahmed Tijani Ozigis and House of Assembly Candidates for Ogori Magongo to a town-hall meeting.

At the meeting which was first held in Ogori Magongo, the DG, canvassed for votes for the presidential flag bearer of the APC, Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu and other candidates of the party in their region.

The Campaign DG similarly delivered the message of Governor Yahaya Bello to traditional leaders, as he similarly solicited their support for all candidates on the platform of the All Progressives Congress.

In his remarks, the Olu of Magongo, HRH Sam Bola Ojo, who led other traditional rulers from Ogori Magongo Local government Traditional Council to an interface with the APC delegation prayed for God’s blessings over Governor Bello for his giant strides in infrastructure, education, health and security amongst other key areas.

Also in attendance were His Royal Highness, Prof Olugbemiro Akerejola, the Ubuoro of Ogori Magongo, Chief Patrick Daudu and the Chairman of Ogori local government area, Hon Goke Oparison

while in Okene Local Government, the Director General, Pharm. Asuku again led the Senatorial candidate, Engr. Abubakar Sidiqu Ohere, the House of Representatives candidate, Hon. Ahmed Tijjani Ozigis and the Okene 1 and Okene 2 house of Assembly candidates to the Palaces of the Ohi of Okengwe and The Ohi of Okene, HH Muhammed Anaje and HH Alhaji Isah Mamman respectively where he seeked their royal blessings and support for the candidates on the platform of the All Progressives Congress APC, including the presidential candidate of the party, Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

He later had a brief meeting with all the traditional rulers in Okene Local Government Area at the Palace of the Ohi of Okene.

The Director General proceeded to the conference hall of the newly inaugurated Ohinoyi of Ebiraland palace for a town-hall meeting with all APC stakeholders in Okene Local Government Area where party members interfaced and discussed the forthcoming elections.
