7th Anniversary: Hajiya Rekiya Congratulates Gov. Bello

The Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Kogi Enterprise Development Agency, (KEDA) Hajiya Rekiya Onaivo Sanni has congratulated Governor Yahaya Bello as he marks his 7th year in office as the 4th executive governor of Kogi State on 27th January.

In a statement made available to Journalists in Kogi State, Hajiya Rekiya scored the Governor high in rapid development of the Confluence State and of course, his enormous contribution to the development of Micro and Small Enterprises (MSEs) in the State adding that the governor has left a lasting legacy in Kogi State business sector.

She noted that the unprecedented infrastructural development in Kogi State which attracted President Muhammadu Buharis historic visit to commission nine (9) legacy projects is worthy of commendation by all.
Hajiya Onaivo further stated that in keeping to his campaign promises, the first disbursement of 150 million naira funds ushered the small business owners in Kogi State into 2023 with grants to enhance their businesses. The fund which was disbursed as a pilot phase of the Kogi Covid-19 Action Recovery and Economic Stimulus (KG-CARES) to hundreds of MSEs has not only revitalized the businesses of the beneficiaries but has also engendered outpour of accolades and testimonies across the state and beyond.

She disclosed that KEDA through the Executive Governor of Kogi State, His Excellency Alhaji Yahaya Bello is committed to making Kogi State a business hub through various business initiatives and empowerment programs. “As an agency saddled with the responsibility of creating wealth being one of the thematic areas of his administration, His Excellency has made tremendous efforts to positively improve the MSE sector, she added.

The KEDA boss further expressed gratitude to the Governor for fulfilling his promises by putting smiles on Kogites’ faces even as the New Year begins.

She urged Kogites to keep on supporting the governor while expressing high hopes that his transformation agenda would span into the last lap and 8th year of his administration.
