IYD 2023: Kogi NYCN Charges Youths to Acquire Skills, Contribute Meaningfully To State
The National Youth Council of Nigeria, Kogi State Chapter under the steering leadership of his youthfulness, Comrade Osiako Ezekiel Sunday, celebrates with Kogi Youths on the occasion of the International Youth Day.
The Council, in tandem with the United Nation’s theme for 2023 “Green Skills for Youth: towards a sustainable world.” charged all Kogi Youths to acquire skills in Agriculture, Technology, and all other facets of human endeavors.
Osiako who spoke on behalf of the council says “Quality Education is vital to youths but going the extra mile to acquire relevant skills make a perfect, resilient, self-fulfilled, and better Youth who will not only be self-sufficient but will, in turn, give back to the society”. He urges Kogi Youths to utilize their youthful age in making the best use of their time for a better future as he promises to rob minds with stakeholders and necessary NGOs to create the platform where skills acquisition will be made easy and accessible for all.
He concluded that Kogi Youths are known for their doggedness, hard work, uncommon virtues, and good character. “These attributes are the uncommon qualities of Kogites and have placed the state and her citizens in a positive limelight. Hence, we should imbibe it and be good ambassadors to the state and the country at large.”
“Once again congratulations to all of us.”
