ROAD REHAB: Ajaokuta Federal Lawmaker Brings Relief To Constituents, assures of State presence in no time
Relief has come to residents of Apaminosi community in Ajaokuta Local Government Area of Kogi State as a collapsed bridge connecting two communities (Ogigiri and Adogo) won the attention of Hon. Sanni Abdulraheem Egidi, the member representing Ajaokuta Federal Constituency.
The lawmaker affirmed that the conditions of Eganyi-Ebiya feeder roads and other roads in the Federal Constituency are not only his major concern but that of the state government.
Hon. Sanni stated this when he visited the annihilated bridges, which he admitted was in a bad shape as a result of heavy downpours thereby becoming a matter of urgent public interest that needs no second thought for his attention and that of the state. He added that he won’t fold his arms and allow the citizens to suffer the negative effects of the natural disasters which in the first place is not caused by anybody, hence the need to provide urgent attention.
The Ajaokuta Lawmaker instantly mobilized heavy duty equipments to the road to make it more traversable by the people and vehicles.
“It should be recalled that during the drought periods, I also provided various intervention works that made the road motorable before the rainy season. You all must know that Eganyi-Ebiya Road has gotten the attention of the state government like other roads in the Local Government area consequently it’s approval for construction by His Excellency, Governor Yahaya Bello”.
The Lawmaker added that there will soon be full commencement of the road’s construction where asphalt will be laid on it. Nonetheless, to avert imminent danger the momentary state of the road doth tell, the need for urgent palliative became most important.
Kogi Government is aware that Eganyi-Ebiya road falls under her exclusive purview and by that fact, it is the responsibility of himself and other responsible citizens of the Constituency to activate her readiness in keeping the roads in a pristine condition and top-notch for ease before the arrival of the State Government.
While reiterating that reputable contractors will be contracted for effective and timely rehabilitation and construction, Hon. SEA urges the people of Ajaokuta LG to vote massively for Alh Usman Ahmed Ododo, the candidate of the ruling All Progressives Congress.
Alh Ododo will build on the laid down foundations and ensure continuity of all people-oriented projects that are ongoing and will ensure he executes all the ones that have been approved.
In company of the Federal Lawmaker was his State Counterpart, Hon Jibril Abu representing Ajaokuta State Constituency; Hon Sandra Musa, SSA to the Governor on Women & Children; Party Stakeholders, Community Leaders, Concerned Women and Youth groups.
With the evident show of responsibility by these cremes of Leaders who have started right, Ajaokuta will be better for it.
Indeed, they will do it differently sailing on the ship of The All Progressives Congress.
