Chief Babayemi Olorunfemi Congratulates Newly Inaugurated Government Appointees, 21 LGA Caretaker Chairpersons, Hails Gov. Bello Leadership Strides
The Convener of Babayemi Vanguard Support Group for Ododo/Joel, Chief Babayemi Olorunfemi has described the New Direction led administration of His Excellency, Governor Yahaya Bello (CoN) as a reformed blueprint for a modern Kogi State.
Chief Babayemi Olorunfemi made the statement while reacting to the special broadcast made on 8th of January, 2023 by His Excellency, Governor Yahaya Bello; which enforced the immediate dissolution of his cabinet and ultimately marked the preparation for power transition to the incoming administration.
“I can say with boldness that His Excellency, Governor Yahaya Bello remain as at today the best Governor Kogi State has ever produced. This is someone who went beyond ethnic lines to unite the state, thereby bringing modern and sustainable developments into Kogi State.
“I congratulate His Excellency for an impactful tenure well spent. And thank him graciously for his support and confidence in the incoming administration of His Excellency, Alhaji Ododo Ahmed Usman. Truly, Kogi is on her path toward greatness.” Chief Babayemi said.
He also went ahead to congratulate the newly appointed Caretaker Chairmen across the 21 Local Government Areas of the State, Admonished them to live up to the expectations of the people by leading with outmost sincerity and honestly, always.
The staunch supporter of His Excellency, Alhaji Ododo Ahmed Usman did not forget to congratulate the newly appointed individuals across board, but emphatically felicitated with Hon. Yakubu Adabenege, and Hon. Taofiq Isah, on their appointments as Auditor General Local Government and Director General Project Monitoring Agency, respectively. He wishes them a successful tenure; as they begin to function in their respective capacities.
