Omoluabi Congratulates Obaro on Emergence as Chairman, Obalufon Royal Dynasty Traditional Rulers

The Special Adviser to Kogi State Governor on Energy Resources, Omoluabi Bode Adeyemi has congratulated the Obaro of Kabba, His Royal Majesty, Oba (Dr) Solomon Owoniyi on his emergence as the Chairman of the Council of Obalufon Royal Fathers.

With this, the revered royal now leads the executive group of Yoruba traditional rulers who trace their ancestry to Obalufon Ogbogbodirin and his son, Obalufon Alayemore.

Omoluabi in a congratulatory message he personally endorsed on Tuesday said the emergence is a clear recognition of the unprecedented reconnection of Okunland to Ile-Ife and the entire Yorubaland.

He said the elevation is the acknowledgment of the vigour and vibrancy the Royal Father has brought into traditional governance, expressing hope that the new office will serve as an opportunity to build new bridges of brotherhood between in the ranks of the Yoruba race.

He said, “The emergence of His Royal Majesty, Oba (Dr) Solomon Owoniyi on his emergence as the Chairman of the Council of Obalufon Royal Fathers has again attested to his God-given capacity to manage human especially at the traditional level.

“I have no doubt this would further build the bridge of brotherliness not only in the fold of Yoruba ethnic nationality but across the fabrics of our great nation.

“We look forward to a reinvigorated relationship which this momentous occasion will offer.

“Your leadership, wisdom, and dedication have not only strengthened the bonds within our community in Okunland but has also gained recognition in the larger Yoruba race. The rich cultural heritage that defines us will further gain a global limelight with the strong leadership character which you have earned as a trademark.

“May your reign continue to bring prosperity, unity, and peace to our people”, he said.
