Hon. Monday Anyebe Felicitates with Muslims at Ramadan

The Kogi State Commissioner for Youth and Sports Development, Hon. Aridaojo Monday Anyebe, has extended warm felicitations to Muslims in the state and beyond as they commence the holy month of Ramadan.
In a statement released on Saturday, the Commissioner described Ramadan as a sacred period of devotion, self-discipline, and compassion. He urged the Muslim faithful to take advantage of the spiritual significance of the month to strengthen their faith, seek Allah’s mercy, and promote peace and unity in the state.
“Ramadan is a time of reflection, sacrifice, and renewed commitment to the values of Islam, which include love, patience, and generosity. As we embark on this spiritual journey, I encourage all Muslim faithful, especially the youth, to use this opportunity to pray for the peace and development of our dear state and nation,” he said.
The Commissioner further commended Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo for his commitment to youth empowerment and sports development in Kogi State, stressing that the administration remains dedicated to creating opportunities for young people to thrive.
He also urged Muslim youths to be ambassadors of peace, discipline, and positive change during and beyond Ramadan.
“Let us use this holy month to reflect on our roles in society and contribute to building a more united and prosperous Kogi State. I pray that Almighty Allah accepts our fast, grants us His blessings, and strengthens us in faith,” he added.
