Ankpa LG Chairman Hails Governor Ododo’s Developmental Strides During Official Visit

The Executive Chairman of Ankpa Local Government Area, Hon. Engr. Ademu Mohammed Yahaya, has commended the Governor of Kogi State, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, for his developmental vision and commitment to grassroots transformation, following the Governor’s recent visit to Ankpa.
In an official statement issued from his office, Hon. Yahaya expressed deep appreciation to the Governor for his inspection of the ongoing multi-billion naira erosion control project spanning Olubojo, Area 1, Ofejiji, and Ogaji communities. He also praised the Governor for commissioning several landmark projects executed by the Deputy Majority Leader of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Abdullahi Ibrahim Halims, representing Ankpa Federal Constituency.
“The people of Ankpa are truly grateful for the Governor’s humane and inclusive leadership. His visit and personal involvement in inspecting critical infrastructure projects have further reinforced the confidence of the people in his administration,” Yahaya stated.
He further noted that since Governor Ododo assumed office, Kogi State has witnessed an unprecedented boost in infrastructural development, economic growth, and investor confidence, attributing these achievements to the Governor’s people-oriented policies and programmes.
Reaffirming his commitment to the Governor’s vision, the Chairman pledged to align all local government initiatives with the state’s development agenda. “I will continue to ensure that Ankpa remains a model of progress in line with your roadmap for accelerated growth,” he assured.
Hon. Yahaya also extended his gratitude to the people of Ankpa for their warm reception of the Governor and their continued support for the present administration. “I owe the good people of Ankpa my sincere appreciation for their cooperation and shared commitment to development. Together, we will continue to build a better future,” he concluded.
