NKFI Rector Congratulates Prof. Moses Atakpa on Appointment as Governing Council Chairman
The Rector of the Nigeria-Korea Friendship Institute, Dr. Williams Charles Oluwatoyin has congratulated Professor Moses Atakpa on his appointment as the new Chairman of the Institute’s Governing Council.
In a press statement issued on Monday, 28th July 2025, Dr. Oluwatoyin expressed confidence that, given Professor Atakpa’s distinguished track record and current academic standing, he will provide the much-needed solutions to the challenges facing the Institute.
Dr. Oluwatoyin emphasized that the Institute stands at a critical point in its development, requiring strong leadership to drive innovation, strengthen academic programs, and enhance technical capacity. He noted that the Governing Council plays a key role in shaping policies that directly impact the Institute’s ability to fulfill its mandate.
He further assured the new Chairman of the management’s full support and cooperation, stating that with a united approach, the Institute will continue to strengthen its ties with Korea, expand opportunities for students, and maintain its commitment to producing highly skilled graduates for Nigeria’s industrial and technological sectors.
