Hon. Bode Adeyemi Illuminates Aiyedun-Egunbe Community with Solar Street Lights

The Special Adviser to the Kogi State Governor on Energy Matters and Chairman, Forum of Special Advisers, Omoluabi Bode Adeyemi, has donated ten solar-powered street lights to Aiyedun-Egunbe Community in Kabba/Bunu Local Government Area, bringing relief and joy to residents who have long endured nights of darkness.

Speaking during the installation, Omoluabi said the gesture was in response to the community’s appeal for improved lighting and safety. He reaffirmed his commitment to the welfare of the people, noting that their wellbeing remains central to his service.

He expressed gratitude to Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo for the privilege to serve in his administration, saying the governor’s leadership has continued to inspire impactful community development. Omoluabi highlighted several of his interventions, including facilitating employment opportunities, providing hospital equipment to the General Hospital Kabba, supporting the completion of a hospital building in Aiyedun-Egunbe, assisting students with school fees, and contributing to church projects and medical aid initiatives.

In appreciation, the Oba of Aiyedun-Egunbe, His Royal Highness, Oba Mathew Aiyekomogbon, commended Omoluabi for his consistent contributions to the community. He described the donation as a significant gesture that will enhance security and social life in the area, praying for greater success and strength for the governor’s aide to continue his service to humanity.
