The Executive Chairman of Lokoja Local Government Area Comrade Abdullahi Adamu has charged other Political Appointees in the Local Government to take a cue from the Ward C Forum of Political Appointees and give back to their immediate communities.

Comrade Adamu disclosed this in Lokoja while presenting cash support to over 250 beneficiaries of the Forum’s first phase of support and interventions to women, widows, the elderly and vulnerable, and petty business owners in the community.

The Council Chairman applauded the initiative as something worth replicating by other Wards as a way of reaching out and connecting with the constituents not only during elections period. “This is a challenge to all of us. On my part, I want to identify and support this noble idea with a monthly contribution of fifty thousand naira.”

He used the opportunity to dismiss the rumored crack in the party noting that the All Progressives Congress in Lokoja Local Government Area is united and focused on delivering the party’s candidates in all elections. “The party in Lokoja Local Government Area is not divided but getting bigger and attracting more valuable players. We will continue to be that one big, united and progressive family that will deliver massively for the President, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo and all candidates of the APC in 2027.”
