City Boy Movement Confident in Ogah’s Grassroots Influence, Unveils Him as Kogi State Director
The City Boy Movement has unveiled Idah-born Hon. Mark Ogah Okpanachi, a prominent grassroots mobiliser and entrepreneur, as the Kogi State Director of the movement, entrusting him with the responsibility of strengthening its structure and expanding its political outreach across the state.
A widely respected community figure and Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of Anarock Global Services Limited, Hon. Ogah is also a highly revered traditional title holder honoured as the Omachi Éje-Ofu (Pillar of Ofu). His emergence reflects the City Boy Movement’s determination to deepen its organisational presence in Kogi State through leadership grounded in influence, experience, and grassroots credibility.
The announcement was made by the Director General of the City Boy Movement, Hon. Francis Oluwatosin Shoga, who described the appointment as a strategic step informed by Ogah’s longstanding engagement with youth mobilisation, political organisation, and community leadership. According to the Director General, the movement remains confident that his proven capacity for coordination and his established network within local communities will provide the energy required to consolidate the movement’s structure across the state.
Over the years, Hon. Ogah has built a reputation for purposeful grassroots engagement, earning the respect of political actors, youth groups, and community stakeholders through sustained involvement in initiatives that promote collective development. His leadership style, shaped by proximity to the people and a strong sense of organisation, positions him to rally broader participation within the City Boy Movement while translating its ideals into visible grassroots momentum across Kogi State.
With this appointment, the movement expresses firm belief that Kogi chapter will assume a pre-eminent role in the Renewed Hope agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu. Hon. Ogah takes up the mantle with the full confidence of the Director General, Hon Shoga, the encouragement of the movement’s Grand Patron, Seyi Tinubu, and the goodwill of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, whose vision of purposeful leadership and national renewal continues to boost the movement’s expanding presence across the country.
