Governor Ododo Congratulates Hon. Duro Meseko on His 60th Birthday »

The Governor of Kogi State, Ahmed Usman Ododo, has congratulated the Deputy National Publicity Secretary of the All Progressives Congress, Duro Meseko, on the occasion of his 60th birthday.

In a goodwill message, Governor Ododo described Hon. Meseko as a committed party stalwart, accomplished communicator, and respected political figure whose contributions to the growth of the All Progressives Congress and democratic governance in Nigeria remain remarkable.

The Governor particularly hailed the celebrant as a media guru and one of the distinguished journalists of his generation who helped shape the Nigerian media into a fearless watchdog of society through courageous, balanced, and people-oriented journalism.

According to the Governor, Hon. Meseko’s transition from journalism into active politics did not diminish his passion for truth, accountability, and public service, noting that his voice has continued to promote progressive ideals and responsible political engagement.

Governor Ododo commended the APC chieftain for his loyalty to the party, his commitment to national development, and his consistent support for the advancement of Kogi State.
