Hon. Mark Ogah’s City Boy Movement Inspires New Era of Political Mobilization Across Kogi

Hon. Mark Ogah Okpanachi, Kogi State Director of the City Boy Movement (CBM), has continued to strengthen grassroots political mobilisation and advance the Renewed Hope Agenda across the state.

According to the Senior Special Assistant on Grassroots Mobilisation, Hon. Amodu Abubakar, Hon. Mark Ogah has distinguished himself through strategic community engagement, youth inclusion, and people-centred initiatives that have expanded the movement’s reach across Kogi State.

A notable example was the April 18, 2026 empowerment programme in Lokoja, where the City Boy Movement distributed wheelchairs, sewing machines, clippers, and food items to beneficiaries from Kogi East, Kogi West, and Kogi Central. The initiative reflected the movement’s commitment to empowerment and community development.

Under his leadership, CBM has strengthened its structures across wards and local governments, particularly in Okun Land, fostering greater political participation and support for the Renewed Hope Agenda.

Hon. Mark Ogah has also consistently advocated youth involvement in governance while supporting the developmental efforts of Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo’s administration.

As the City Boy Movement continues to grow, his leadership remains instrumental in promoting grassroots mobilisation, political awareness, and sustainable community development across Kogi State.
