Ogah Mark Sworn In as Kogi CBM Director, Pledges Commitment to Renewed Hope Agenda
Hon. Ogah Mark Okpanachi has been officially sworn in as the Kogi State Director of the City Boy Movement (CBM), reaffirming his commitment to advancing the ideals of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda.
The swearing-in ceremony took place on Monday during the opening of the 2026 National Retreat of the Movement at the State House Banquet Hall, Presidential Villa, Abuja, where State Directors from across the federation were inaugurated alongside members of the National Working Committee.
Hon. Ogah, who was appointed in January, expressed profound gratitude to the national leadership of the Movement, led by its Director-General, Hon. Francis Shoga, and under the Grand Patronage of Barr. Seyi Tinubu, for the confidence reposed in him and the opportunity to serve.
He also commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for the implementation of the Renewed Hope Agenda, noting that its positive impact is increasingly evident in Kogi State through the people-centred administration of Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo.
The newly inaugurated Director pledged to justify the trust placed in him by strengthening and expanding the Movement’s structures across Kogi State.
According to him, his leadership will focus on increasing youth participation, deepening stakeholder engagement, and consolidating grassroots mobilisation ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The 2026 National Retreat continues on Tuesday with strategic sessions aimed at equipping State Directors and members of the National Working Committee with the requisite knowledge and capacity to advance the objectives and programmes of the City Boy Movement nationwide.
