Governor Bello shores up cabinet with fresh cabinet rejig
Governor Yahaya Bello of Kogi State has again demonstrated his commitment towards delivering on his “new direction” mantra by making fresh shuffling on his cabinet.
A release made available to Inside Story shows that the Governor has relieved the State's Head of Civil Service, Mrs Hassana Lawal of her office and reappointed her as an adviser on civil service, Labour and Pension affairs. She is to be replaced by Deborah Ogunmola as the head of the state's head of civil service.
The release which was signed by the Secretary to the State Government, Mrs Ayoade Folashade Arike, thanked Mrs Lawal for her service to the state and wished her the best in her future undertakings.
According to the document, the government further appointed individuals into the state's Commissions, Boards and Agencies as Chairmen, members and Senior Special Assistants on some areas of the state's economy.
