Saraki Pleads with Nigerians to pray for end to Killings

Nigeria's President of the Senate, Dr Bukola Saraki has pleaded with Nigerians to take the issues of killings in the different part of the country to God in prayer and seek for its ending.
Senator Saraki made this request on his social media page in the early hours of Thurday as he extended his greetings to muslim faithful to commemorate the commencement of the 30- day Ramadan fast.
The Senate president admonished them to see the 30-days fast as a moment to pray over security concerns in the different part of the country. He prayed that Almighty Allah (SWT) to restore peace and oneness among his countrymen and women.
He stated further that the fasting season was a unique and special period for Muslims around the world to renew their faith in the Almighty, deepen their worship and practice the teachings of the Holy Quran.
The Senator further beseach faithfuls to within these days and beyond assist the weak and vulnurable in the society, stating his belief that the country's security challenges were surmountable if we all continue to pray for the peace and unity of our Nation
