Ali Christopher Emerges Winner of KFF Foundation Essay Competition
A fresh graduate of Community Secondary School, Emi-Woro in Ajaokuta Local Government Area of Kogi State, Ali Christopher has emerged as the winner of the KFF FOUNDATION ESSAY COMPETITION.
He will cart home N100,000.00 for the feat.
The Essay Competition which was launched by the Foundation to promote academic excellence among students of secondary schools and tertiary institutions had over 400 participants this year.
The topic of the competition was, GYB: A LEGACY OF UNITY, PEACE AND DEVELOPMENT.
Announcing the results, the Founder of the Foundation and Kogi State Commissioner for Information and Communications, Hon. Kingsley Fanwo said the competition generated heavy “intellectual traffic among Kogi students”, saying it is his own way of galvanising students towards educational excellence.
The Group Coordinator of the Foundation, Hon. Toba Adebayo said the Foundation will continue to put in place, programs that will help grow a great society.
“We have been doing a lot to help communities such as provision of water, health facilities as well as scholarship for indigent students. This Essay Competition is one of those things we are committed to in order to build a generation that believes in the resource of knowledge”, he said.
The Deputy Group Coordinator of the Foundation, Hon. Dennis Komolafe and the Women Wing Coordinator, Hon. Mrs Eunice Olukomogbon both commended the participants, assuring the people that the Foundation will continue its empowerment initiatives and programs.
Ali Chris will be presented with his prize on Thursday 15th September, 2022.
