Andas Congratulates Muslims on Successful Completion Of Ramadan
The Chairman, Kogi State House of Assembly Service Commission, Alhaji Malik Andas has extended his warmest wishes to all Muslims in and around the world as they celebrate the occasion of Eidel-Fitri.
Alhaji Malik in his message of felicitation calls on Muslims to always reflect on the values of charity, community cooperation, and compassion as part of lessons learnt during the ramadan.
He maintains that the spirit of sacrifices and selflessness demonstrated during the period of ramadan have not gone unnoticed by Allah who has promised to reward every Muslims that engaged in the exercise.
The Chairman admonished adherents of Islam to continue to practice self discipline and control as exhibited during the fasting period as such behavior have positive and enduring impact not only in their personal lives but the society as a whole.
Alhaji Andas appealed to all and sundry irrespective of political or religious leaning to continue to uphold the State and the Country especially the Leaders in prayers to bring the Country out of the numerous challenges confronting it and make Nigeria a vibrant economy that it used be in the early past.
According to him, the 2023 elections provide yet another opportunity for Nigerians to elect their Leaders at various level of governance and that as a people desirous of a developed Nation in all its socio-economic and political spheres, there is the need to look out for credible and selfless candidates who will place the Country on a proper footing.
“Above all the negative tendencies militating against the nation, security to life and property has become a major challenge steering us on the face to a level of undermining our corporate existence as a nation, hence we must look inward to carefully elect a leader who is endowed with “what it takes” to secure the Country for the resuscitation of its glorious days when anybody irrespective of age, sex, religion or political leaning could travel the length and breath of Nigeria any time, any day unmolested.”
What it takes to fix the Country back to its glamorous days especially in terms of security and unity are inherent in the person of His Excellency, Alhaji Yahaya Bello, an unimaginable, young and dynamic Leader of repute. He may not be a political juggernaut of the North, South, East or West but a little salt that tastes well in soup for the multitude. He is endowed with an ace up his sleeve. Let us all pray for him to take the leadership of of Country and fix the missing link.
He advised against all forms of divisive tendencies capable of hindering the progress of the Nation, pointing out that the spirit of oneness and love displayed in the course of ramadan if sustained could bring about the desired transformation in the land.
Alhaji Andas on behalf of the Members and Staff of the Commission congratulated all Muslims and wished them a happy sallah celebration.
