The All Progressives Congress (APC) Campaign Council for Ijumu 1 State Constituency has concluded its grassroots tour across key communities in the constituency, with the campaign team presenting its candidate, Hon. Femi Esemikose, to voters ahead of the forthcoming election.

The final phase of the tour took the team to Ayetoro Gbede, Iluhagba, Iyah Gbede, Iluafon Gbede and Ayegunle Gbede, where it engaged residents, community leaders, party members and other grassroots stakeholders.

The campaign council said the outreach was aimed at strengthening the APC’s presence at the ward and community levels while providing an opportunity to present Esemikose and his political message directly to the electorate.

The campaign council is chaired by its Director-General, Hon. Oladele John Nihi, OJN, who led the constituency-wide mobilisation and reconciliation efforts.

Nihi was accompanied by APC stakeholders and grassroots mobilisers, including Hon. Sikuru Hamza, Hon. Amodu Ibikunle Abubakar and Hon. Kelvin Oluseyi Eleta, as well as government appointees, party leaders and supporters.

The concluding engagements followed earlier visits on Monday to Okoro-Gbede, Araromi Gbede, Odokoro Gbede, Agrigbon and Ayeh Gbede communities.

During the engagements, the campaign team reiterated its emphasis on grassroots representation, responsive leadership, continuity and people-oriented development, while calling on residents to support Esemikose at the polls.

The completion of the tour marks the end of the campaign council’s broad community-level outreach across Ijumu 1 and sets the stage for the next phase of its campaign activities.

The council said it would now focus on consolidating its grassroots network, deepening engagement with voters and translating the mobilisation into electoral support for the APC candidate.
