Asuku – a pride, inspiration to Kogi youths — Hon. Matthew Ochada says
Even as Director General, Protocol, a position he held before his appointment as Chief of Staff to Governor Yahaya Bello, Pharmacist Abdulkareem Muhammed Jamiu Asuku, has warmed himself into the hearts of Kogi people through his many humanitarian works
This is in addition to his commitment, in line with the vision of the Governor to creating opportunities for women and youths to discover themselves as well as contributing to the development process in the state.
Fascinated by the growing goodwill he enjoys among youths in the state, a stalwart of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Honourable Matthew Ochada, has described him as a pride to Kogi youths through his maturity, gift of empathy, humility and resourcefulness.
He disclosed this recently in a chat with The Graphic, while reacting to the growing solidarity for Governor Bello’s presidential aspiration, a move, he prayed would be successful.
According to him, Pharmacist Asuku has learnt so fast, the art of inclusive and people-driven leadership from Governor Bello who found in him rare virtues of sincere loyalty and passion for service, saying he has been able to mobilize enormous goodwill for his principal.
” Kogi is blessed to have a young Governor who believes so much in the exceptional ability of the youths. We are grateful to him for finding Pharmacist Asuku worthy to serve as his Chief of Staff, and joyfully, he has been a bridge between the government and the people” he said.
Ochada, a firm believer in the new direction administration in the state, lauded Governor Bello for his confidence in the youths, by providing them unfettered opportunities to prove themselves in appointments as well as elective positions.
He urged the people of the state, youths in particular, to sustain their support for the present administration in its determination to make Kogi the envy of other states, just as he called on Nigerian youths to rise up for Governor Bello as he presents himself to lead the country in 2023.
