The activities lined up for the installation of the new Attah Igala Kingdom midweek climaxed with the completion of the nine stages which is expected to be strictly adhere to before ancestry to the throne of his fore-fathers.

Idah, the seat of the igala kingdom literally came to a halt as personalities from all walks of life came in their numbers to witness the historic moment. The Deputy speaker of State House of Assembly and member representing Ankpa 1 constituency, Rt. Honourable Ahmed Mohammed led member of the house of Assembly from Kogi East to celebrate with the Attah of Igala and Igala Kingdom.

The Deputy speaker, Rt. Honourable Ahmed Mohammed while responding to journalist at the Attah Igala’s palace expressed happiness for the emergence of his Royal Majesty, Chief Alaji Mathew Opaluwa Ogwuche as the new Attah Igala kingdom.

The Deputy speaker who led a high powered delegation expressed confidence that his Royal Majesty’s reign as the custodian of the rich cultures and norms of Igala land would bring in unity, peace and sustainable development, stating that the land and its people would observe total change in all ramifications.

The Deputy Speaker appeals to sons and daughters of igala land to accord their unfettered cooperation, while as lawmakers assures the King of viable laws that will networks their kingdom to good governance.
