Birthday: Onoja eulogizes Ahmed Attah, describes him as ‘Man who saw tomorrow’
Deputy Governor of Kogi State, Chief Edward Onoja has sent an emotional message to the Kogi East APC Zonal Chairman, Honorable Ahmed Attah as he marks his birthday.
In a message signed by the Deputy Governor, Onoja described the celebrant as the man who saw tomorrow.
He said Ahmed Attah is held in high esteem because he is a man of many parts who is passionate about whatever he was involved in.
“Ahmedy Attah is my younger brother and the APC Zonal Chairman for Kogi East and I hold him in high esteem. He is a man of many parts and on a day like this, it is not very easy to find the words to celebrate him.
“Our paths crossed over a decade ago on the Political Scene of Kogi, so he is not an overnight success transported to high office by powerful benefactors.
“He was a young boy at the time we met but even then he had been in the opposition for almost a decade, serving and sacrificing with nothing but hopes of a better future to sustain him.
“That future came in 2015, in the person, ideas and ideals of an equally young and aspiring Alhaji Yahaya Bello and his team which included myself.
“Ahmedy, always the visionary, saw tomorrow. He listened to the voice of reason and divinity and they showed him an ‘impossible’ path to Glory which he followed like a true disciple when he hears the master’s call.
“His choice to join camps with us was definitely not without the usual name calling and typical attacks from the shortsighted and myopic interest in only their belly and the taste of immediate gratification.
“By the grace of God I am the Deputy Governor of Kogi State today and my man Ahmedy is Kogi East APC 001 as Zonal Chairman – it is the Lord’s doing and it is marvelous in our sight.
“We are both alive, well and divinely protected against all diabolisms both physical and spiritually.
“We are both serving under a young man we call leader, who sees me as his Siamese twin and you his as his First Son. Not a bad outcome for 4 years of hard and smart work.
“My counsel to you today is, remain steadfast. Be like me, keep following our leader. Keep faith with your ideals, stay loyal and strong but most importantly keep shining your focus on God.
“My brother, you are the man who saw tomorrow, and my wish for you today is that by the power of the Almighty God you will live to see many many more tomorrows, each better than the last.
“Let the EbIgO spirit lives on. God no be man. My God no go shame you.
“Happy Birthday and welcome to the best days of the rest of your long and fruitful life, in Jesus Name!
“Again I say thanks 🙏 for believing in the vision of a better Kogi State.
