Kogi not among states to receive repatriated Almajiris- Commissioner
Nasarawa State government has refuted claims that it has concluded plans to repatriate 35 Almajiris to Kogi State.
The Kogi State Commissioner for Information and Communication, Mr. Kingsley Fanwo made this clarification today on his Twitter account @FanwoKings .
Fanwo said he had called his Nasarawa State counterpart to confirm the claim and was informed that Kogi was not among the states to receive repatriated Almajiris.
“I just spoke with the Nasarawa State Honorable Commissioner for Information who confirmed that Kogi is not on the list of Almajiris they are repatriating.’
Recall that news broke out recently that Nasarawa state government has concluded plans to return 35 Almajiri of Kogi state origin back to their state.
