The Provost, College of Education Ankpa, Professor Ibrahim Mohammed, has sent felicitations to the Deputy Governor of Kogi State, His Excellency, Elder Joel Oyibo Salifu, on the occasion of his birthday, yesterday 7th May.

Speaking from his office in Ankpa, the Provost praised the Deputy Governor’s unwavering commitment to the education sector, citing his dedication to the development of teachers and the improvement of education in the state as highly commendable.

The Provost noted that as a former teacher and Chairman of the Nigeria Union of Teachers, Kogi State Chapter, Deputy Governor Oyibo’s contributions to the sector have had a profound impact on the lives of countless students and educators, particularly his advocacy for teachers’ welfare and his role in shaping education policy.

In his address, the Provost stated that the institution acknowledges the significance of leadership and mentorship in shaping the education landscape, underscoring the institution’s appreciation for the Deputy Governor’s efforts in promoting quality education in Kogi State.
