In preparation for a novelty football match between Ex Super Eagles Stars and the New Direction Team of Kogi State slated for Tuesday 30 March 2021, the former technical advicer to the Nigerian national team and chief coach, Bonferee Joe, has arrived Lagos Nigeria on Friday.

The former national stars will be taking on the vibrant members of the new direction team at the Lokoja stadium, the capital city of Kogi State.

While the New Direction team will be captained by His Excellency, the Executive Governor of Kogi State Alhaji Yahaya Bello, the soccer legends will be led by the all time hero of soccer in Nigeria, Austin Jay Jay Okocha.

The 1996 Olympic Gold medal winning coach, Bonferee Joe who arrived Murtala Muhammed International Airport via Lufthansa Airline from his base in Netherlands is expected to be in Lokoja Kogi state this weekend with all the Ex Internationals.

The game which is scheduled for 3 PM local time, will feature all top government officials in Kogi State and expectations are high that the sport loving youthful governor will display as the match promises to be thrilling.
